Church Boards

Church Council
Comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the congregation and the Chairpersons from each of the respective boards. The Pastor and Principal of the School also attend. The Church Council meets at least once each month to analyze past progress and plan future efforts and emphases needs in the total program of the Church.

Board of Elders
Responsible for the general and specific spiritual welfare of the corporate and individual membership of the congregation. Click here for more information.

Board of Stewardship
Responsible for the identification and growth of the Holy Spirit's gifts of time, talent and treasure. The Board sets the annual church and school budgets. The board is concerned with programs which educate and increase the spiritual growth of the congregation and utilize the talents and treasures to the fullest extent. Click here for more information.

Board of Trustees
Responsible for the supervision of the physical property and equipment of the congregation.

Board of Christian Education
Oversees all Children and Adult Sunday School Classes, Bible Studies, Youth Groups, Family Gathering Group, Scouts, Women's Ministry, Vacation Bible School, as well as special Christian growth and educational programs. Its purpose is to facilitate and encourage all members to grow in their relationship with God, in knowledge of Biblical teaching, in faith, in Christ, and in the application of this growth in everyday lives.

Day School Board
This Board is concerned with the educational and spiritual growth of our students at Concordia Christian Day School and relate programs.

Board of Mission and Ministry
This Board is responsible for the special areas of evangelism, social ministry, and world missions. Assistance is provided to ECCM, Pregnancy Care Center, Corner Table, the Hmong Mission, Camp Linn Haven, needy families, Lutheran World Relief, The Mission field, and other organizations. Board of Assimilation
Responsible for the spiritual welfare of prospective and new members of Concordia. This Board also encourages active participation of members to serve as greeters, provide refreshments for Sunday morning fellowship, schedule meals for Lenten and Advent services, and a card ministry to the sick and shut-ins.
